With more and more women following their hearts and doing whatever the heck they want in terms of their dating lives, it seems as though there are more reasons than ever to go for a younger guy. And now, thanks to several new studies, science seems to be behind it too. One of the newest studies on the subject gives us the most hope: women who date younger men are often also linked to a higher success rate in their professional lives.

According to dating website Toyboy Warehouse , 50 per cent of women dating younger men had managerial jobs. Mick Jagger might not have figured it out, but according to a study published in the Journal Psychology of Women Quarterly , women who were a decade or older than their partners were more satisfied and committed to their relationships than their female counterparts who were in a relationship with someone closer to their own age.

Thanks to the rising cost of housing, schooling and overall life, more and more Canadians are waiting to move out of their parents houses. And in a StatsCan report, it seems as though men are more likely to continue living out a bachelor lifestyle into their 30s than women. Meaning more homely comforts for you — and control of the remote. Although there used to be a certain stigma attached to age-gap relationships and their longevity, studies are now proving that on average, a relationship between an older woman and younger man lasts roughly two years.

Okay, so having more stamina in bed is a good reason to date a younger guy too. According to a poll by Prevention Magazine , at least 29 per cent of women reported that their main reason for choosing someone their junior was because he had more energy and stamina. That translates outside of the bedroom too, when it comes to nights out on the town and wanting to go out on weekends.

That same poll from Prevention also asked survey respondents whether younger men were better looking than their aging counterparts.
